This is an older  reproduction of the famous painting entitled Jesus with Mary and Martha originally  painted by German Painter Heinrich Hofmann 1824-1911.
Jesus is wearing a blue robe and holds his staff.  Martha brings food to Jesus and Mary and a  small boy brings them water,  there is  a dog is taking a nap, birds in a bird bath on the ground and a cat stands on the steps, this is a very peaceful scene.
Signed by S K L the frame is signed S. Klinger it has a dark brown and gold matted frame with geometric  wood carved designs.
Condition: Good, gesso has a small area of delamination 3/4 " Tall x 1/2" Wide and some typical flaking.
