Twelve American Edwardian Art Nouveau sterling silver dinner plates. Each: Round and solid well engraved with interlaced monogram set in wreath surrounded by four interlaced leafing c-scrolls. Pierced shoulder with engraved flowers and scrolling leaves?dense and overlapping pell-mell ornament. A gorgeous, sumptuous set.
Fully marked. Three plates have Gorham maker?s stamp, no. 7018A, and 1917 date symbol. The other 9 have Lebkuecher maker's stamp, Grogan retailer's stamp, and no. 01704/11.
