    Description

    This beautifully made, one-of-a-kind icon is 50-year-old. The handpainted illustration tells the story of the legend of Saint George and the dragon. First, he tamed the dragon before killing it that demanded human sacrifices—then rescuing the princess chosen as the next offering.
    The icon is made of wood, except the middle section built out of limestone and inserted into the wood. It is a wall-hanging religious art.
